CERTIFIED LEAK DETECTION SPECIALISTS
LICENSED AND INSURED
Aquatic facilities lose water quietly. Makeup water masks the loss, the auto-fill keeps up, and nothing looks wrong - until the utility bill climbs, the chemistry won't hold, or the deck starts to settle.
Reduce Water Loss
A quarter-inch of unexplained daily drop on a 25-metre pool is roughly 2,400 litres a day - close to 870,000 litres a year.
Minimize Downtime
Detection is non-destructive and most of it happens with your facility open. Trenchless repairs are measured in days, not weeks.
Avoid Costly Excavation
The pipe is rarely the expensive part. The deck, tile, landscaping and closure are. Trenchless work leaves them in place.
Protect Your Investment
Water escaping under a pool shell undermines fill and moves structures. Early detection keeps a plumbing problem a plumbing problem.

OUR PROCESS
01 DETECT
02 LOCATE
03 REPAIR
04 VERIFY
Establish that there's a leak and how big it is. We measure actual loss against a baseline built for your facility, and rule out the things that imitate a leak - backwash cycles, splash-out, an auto-fill already compensating.
Pinpoint it. Acoustic, pressure, camera, dye and thermal methods narrow the loss to a specific line, fitting or section of shell. We mark it on site and on a facility diagram.
Restore the line without opening the site. Trenchless lining, bursting or point repair, chosen to suit the pipe and the constraint. Scope is set before we start, because the location is already known.
Prove it's fixed. We re-test the repaired system and document the result. A repair isn't finished when the work is done - it's finished when the numbers confirm it.
THE ALS DIAGNOSTIC REPORT
CONFIRMED
Directly observed, or verified by more than one independent test method. Ready to scope and price.
PROBABLE
Strongly indicated by testing but not directly observed, usually because access is restricted. Repair is reasonable; some risk the scope shifts on opening.
INVESTIGATE FURTHER
You Get a Report, Not a Verdict.
Facility managers rarely control their own capital budget. Getting a repair approved means convincing someone who was never on site - a GM, a board, a council, an insurer.
Our Diagnostic Report is built for that conversation: executive summary, findings with locations, annotated diagrams, photo documentation, recommended solution - and a confidence rating on every single finding.
**Professional. Accurate. Defensible.** No inflated certainty, and no surprises at invoice time.
LEAK DETECTION
Find the Leak Before You Break the Deck.
Exploratory digging is a guess with a price tag. When it's right, it's expensive. When it's wrong, it's expensive twice - and you still don't know where the leak is.
Detection reverses the order. We establish that there is a leak, isolate which system it's in, and pinpoint its location. Then the repair becomes a known quantity you can quote, schedule and budget.

Bucket & Drawdown Testing
Separates true loss from evaporation, and isolates whether the loss is in the shell or the circulation system.

Dye Testing
Confirms shell, fitting, light niche and skimmer leaks by direct observation.

Pressure Testing
Isolates individual return, suction and main drain lines to identify which one is actually failing.

Camera & Sonde Locating
Visual inspection of drain and buried lines, with above-ground marking of depth and position.

Acoustic & Correlator
Pinpoints pressurised line leaks running under decks, slabs and fill.

Thermal Imaging
Surfaces temperature anomalies where heated water is escaping into surrounding structure.
TRENCHLESS REPAIR COMPARISON
Industry sources put total project savings at 30 to 50 percent against dig-and-replace once restoration is counted. Trenchless repair removes the category of restoration cost entirely, with completion measured in days rather than weeks.

WHO WE SERVE

Built for Facilities That Can't Simply Close.
Commercial and institutional aquatic facilities across Alberta, where downtime has a cost and the repair has to be justified to someone who wasn't there.

Recreation Centres
Multi-tank facilities lose water in more than one place at once, and combined makeup metering hides it. We test tanks and systems independently so you know which one is actually failing.

Municipalities
Public facilities have to justify spend in public. Our reports are written to be attached to a capital request - scope, evidence, confidence and recommendation, in language a council can read.
